Let me start off with the fact that I have heard mixed reviews on this book but my curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to try and judge for myself.

It was just a hot mess. Abby is the good girl, Travis is the bad boy and it was just too predictable, cliche and cheesy at time and it had no redeeming parts for me.

YA Crush Tourney Round 3 - Elite Eight

Hello lovelies,

The YA-Sisterhood YA Crush Tourney is on Round three and it will be narrow down to the Elite Eight. Match 25 will be between Will Herondale from Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series versus Adam Kent from Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me.

Now, I'm about Team Adam and I know what you're thinking: This is Will from The Mortal Instruments and this is Cassandra Clare and she has a huge following. I haven't had the pleasure of reading TMI  series yet but I do know how popular they are. But Adam has been going against some really great and swoon-worthy guys and I believe he has a chance to give Will a run for his money.

So, let give Adam some love and vote for him. The contest runs from 12am to 12am today, August 3rd.

First off, I truly enjoyed Ten Girls to Watch; it was such a fun, and easy read. Dawn is a very likeable protagonist and I enjoyed getting to know her. There were some parts that had me LOL for real and shaking my head in others.
     Some of my favorite parts was when Dawn was interviewing the former winners of TGTW and how she treated those women. She spoke to those women as if they were old friends and made them feel comfortable and special and that was when I became Dawn's biggest supporter. I mean, here she was, in a job she had just gotten after months of searching, all the while trying to make ends meet. She could have just done some quick interviews and be done with it, but she dedicated herself and went above and beyond from what she was originally asked for. It made me respect Dawn and see her in a new light.
