I was anxiously awaiting the release of Opposition being that it is the last book of one of my favorite series. Considering how Origin ended, I was a little desperate to get my hands on this book. This book had me hooked from beginning to end, which is great except that when you are getting towards the end of the story you start to run out of pages and things aren't any closer to being resolved.

This story has the same great characters as all of the books before it. Opposition  is action packed and will have you turning pages as fast as you can get through them. There is a lot of emotional turmoil going on throughout the story. There were sacrifices being made by both Katy and Daemon throughout the book. I love the progression of their relationship, although there were times when Daemon scared the hell out of me with the way he was acting.

I was really happy with the story until the end. There were so many unanswered questions and a whole lot of build up to this great big fight against the Luxen who have come to invade earth; then in the matter of like a page or two the big fight ended in the blink of an eye. For all of its mystery and buildup I feel it fell flat when it came to the climax of the story. I like to call it the magic wand effect, when you think that things can't get any worse *ping* the solution magically appears and the story moves on to the end *poof*. Either way aside from that I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved where the characters ended up.
